Keir Starmer today: "Most people come into public life to serve the common good, whichever political party they're in"
These people think we're stupid.
You too can see the Epstein files. Yes, all of them.

"The answers given.. were intentionally intended to create the impression that Mandelson barely knew Epstein.. I had no reason at that stage to think that was anything other than the truth"
Because we've all stayed at the mansion of a billionaire we barely know, right Keir?
Colleagues line up to offer condolences for the slain Palestinian medic in Gaza.
Medics prepare the body of the fallen colleague inside a hospital room following an Israeli strike.
🔴 GAZA | Israeli forces killed Hussien Hassan Al-Smairi, a 48-year-old paramedic with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), in a double-tap strike while he was on a rescue mission responding to an Israeli attack on displacement tents in Al-Mawasi, east of Khan Younis, Healthcare Workers Watch said. Al-Smairi is the fourth healthcare worker killed in Gaza since the October 2025 ceasefire, and the second in less than 24 hours.

🚨 After 8 full days of deliberation, a UK jury has acquitted or not convicted the “Filton 24” Palestine Action direct actionists, five of whom admitted in court to destroying Israeli weapons and equipment belonging to Israel’s largest weapons firm Elbit Systems. The defendants were acquitted or not convicted of all offenses leveled against them, including violent offenses. Campaigners say this result is a “monumental victory” that has “vindicated” the defendants, who were smeared by government ministers as “violent criminals.” Campaigners added that the refusal to convict the defendants of criminal damage, despite evidence of damage to Israeli weapons, shows that “the jury understood that it is not those who destroy Israeli weapons who are guilty; rather, the guilty party is the one that deploys such weapons to commit genocide in Gaza.” Quote Amnesty UK @AmnestyUK ·
See new posts Conversation Amnesty UK @AmnestyUK BREAKING: Jury unwilling to find guilty 6 Palestine Action activists Today's judgments are hugely important. The unwillingness of the jury to find Palestine Action activists guilty further highlights how disproportionate the decision to proscribe the organization was. This raises fundamental questions about the state's use of anti-terrorism laws against direct action protest. As Amnesty International submitted in our intervention in the judicial review of the government's proscription decision, wielding the enormous powers of the state anti-terrorism apparatus in this way is a major intrusion into rights to freedom of assembly and expression. After being accused of having a 'terrorism connection' these activists, and others, have been held in prison for up to 17 months before today's verdicts. The impact of this prolonged pre-trial detention on them, their friends and their families has been grim and it must come to an immediate end.

🗞️ BREAKING | The Washington Post has laid off its entire Middle East team, Cairo bureau chief Claire Parker shared on X. “It’s an absolute bloodbath,” an employee told The Guardian. Editor-in-chief Matt Murray announced a “broad strategic reset” Wednesday morning that will result in “significant” layoffs across the company. Employees were instructed to attend an 8:30 a.m. Zoom meeting, after which they would learn their fate via email. The total number of layoffs is not yet known. Murray told staff the Post is ending the current iteration of its sports desk, though some employees will remain on a restructured team. The paper is also restructuring local coverage, shrinking its international reporting operation, suspending its flagship daily news podcast Post Reports, and eliminating Book World. Those laid off include a reporter covering Amazon, a company owned by Jeff Bezos, who also owns the Washington Post. Over the past week, employees urged Bezos to halt the cuts, signing letters and sending public appeals stressing the importance of the Post’s journalism. Bezos has remained silent and did not respond to letters from staffers representing the foreign, local, and White House teams. On Monday, he instead greeted U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during a tour of another company he owns, the Blue Origin spaceflight startup in Florida.
Claire Parker @cairo_claire1 Laid off from the Washington Post, along with the entire roster of Middle East correspondents and our editors. Hard to understand the logic. But I am grateful for my incredible colleagues, whose grit and dedication to the reporting and each other I will miss dearly.

Fuck Israel.
Israel has been repeatedly accused of harvesting organs of Palestinians that the colonial, apartheid regime kills! The world watches as Palestinians are dehumanised by the occupation in life and in death. I say and say it again- Fuck Israel! Free Palestine from the river to the sea 🍉🍉
Abolition of for profit healthcare, prisons and ICE. Abolition of billionaires and corporate monopolies. Abolition of politicians who have pledged "Zionist loyalty". THAT is the moderate position.
