This series from @badhandbooks.bsky.social is so much fun! I’m starting on issue 6, which is year 13 after a mysterious plague/pandemic (?) called The Reds. @benjaminpercy.bsky.social is the author behind this and Stephen King contributes. I’m intrigued!

If you knew you only had about 30 days to live, what would you do? What is most important to you?
Imagine the chaos!

If that’s the case, let’s have them land in DC & see if they are invited in to the WH. 😉

Unbelievable. Gas prices high? FU. Inflation killing our budgets? FU? America first? More like Trump first.

I LOVE The Haunting of Hill House. I think it contains the best opening paragraphs ever. I hope you love them both!

What are you reading? I’ve started Wretch: or, The Unbecoming of Porcelain Khaw by @ericlarocca.com. I’m still making my way through Horror Library, Vol 9, edited by Eric J. Guignard & lastly, I’m re-listening to Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, narrated by the phenomenal Ray Porter. #booksky

I’m battling a cold and looking at a very busy work week ahead. I’m also sick of everything going on(gesturing wildly towards the news of murder and basic chaos in my country that I no longer recognize), I’m going to escape it by further exploration of the warm cozy world of cosmic horror. #booksky

Revisiting the Department of Lost Souls was such a pleasure! I am just now getting into Nordic Noir, or Scandinavian crime novels, and this author is part of the reason why! My full review: facebook.com/Chars…

I can be impulsive when a cover is great. 🙂
Plus I’ve been wanting to try your work.

Just wanted to do a little cover appreciation post!

@louceph.com really did an amazing job on this one. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect piece of art for the Writhing, Verdant End!

The tangled snarling monsters all garbed in red sinew really get the eco-horror point across.
