Honestly I don’t care about the details of vetting and who’s allowed to say what to whom. It was a terrible appointment in the first place and shows appalling lack of judgement

It’s Monday afternoon and I’ve already eaten too much cheese

Hello, if you ever visit Belgium you can go to the Chimay centre near the abbey and try all the different beers and cheeses in their restaurant, then buy more than you realistically need in their shop

I don’t really know: mine are growing in a wet location, heavy soil

Just finished Wuthering Heights: enjoyable, but don’t agree with it being a masterpiece of English literature. The Yorkshire dialect may be meant as light relief but comes across (to me) as insulting. And I expected more about he landscape and weather: its present, but not as much as I expected

Fun afternoon of playing Scottish, Irish, English and Breton folk music then finishing with an Argentinian tango and a Chilean dance (forgot the name) with a wonderful singer. Violin, harp, cello, guitar and accordion

Best part of the show tonight was a young actor getting her costume caught on a piece of scenery and muttering audibly ‘’merde, ce chiant costume”

Still feels weird turning up to perform with no music. Lucky I’m not a jazz musician or opera singer

Was reading this, remembered I need to mow the lawn, look outside: it’s raining

Well that was a chaotic générale/dress rehearsal. I guess it will be alright on the night (tonight)

I’m not used to turning up to a rehearsal or concert without any music. At least not in purpose…

Amazing Mahler 5 tonight at Bozar in Brussels. Completely overshadowed the Berlioz Nuits d’Eté in the first half.

Managed to convince my choir director not to click her fingers in time while rehearsing : much more relaxing without all the clicking

Weird, I had exactly the opposite experience a month ago: smoother and faster then my previous transfer and the instructions worked perfectly

RIP Moya Brennan, a wonderful singer, composer, harpist, sister of Enya, and gave - with Clannad - the first ever performance in Irish on Top of the Pops. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zHT...

This song is burnt into my brain. I bought the single and played it over and over again, I must have been about 16

Full Circle - [Social] Ceilidh! ft. The Hoggies

Just a few tickets left for the next ceilidh at Full Circle in Brussels: book now for a fun evening of dancing (and come and say hello to the accordionist if you do come)
