When something leaks, it's really hard on the people that made it. They want to show you the best, most finished version, presented in the best way possible. They work for YEARS on a project for that final reveal.

My Mii asked what they should talk about to become friends with my spouse's Mii. I suggested "dogs", my spouse's favorite animal.
My Mii then told my spouse's Mii they looked like a dog. And then they became best friends lol.
Session's over and we still have at least an hour (probably more) of thunderstorms going on. I'm at least glad my dog seems more comfortable with getting comfort by cuddling against me rather than running off and hiding.
Had a session of my D&D campaign today. Giant thunderstorm going on the entire time. Would've been a very good mood effect if it were a more serious campaign lol.
But yeah, I think that's good that you were able to stick in the middle and not go too far down one way or the other. Certain people that you have that many memories with are going to trigger those kinds of responses, I think, and it's so easy to let one emotion take hold and wreck things.
It was for both things that were her fault and things that were my fault. And I still sometimes yearn for that friendship and how special it was, and how I don't have a friend like that now. But I can't undo what was done, and yeah, my memories of it all get tangled in so many emotions nowadays.
Yeah, I was definitely speaking more generally. Like both relationships and also like, say, a movie that I both really enjoyed and really disliked lol!
I can't relate in quite the same way as that, but I think about a best friend I used to have, but cut off after a couple years, and that is tough.
It can be a bit uncomfortable feeling, I think, not sure how to rectify these conflicting feelings about something/someone, but I think that can also lead to some really great conversations, and those conversations can really help with emotional growth.

More seriously, so much of the human experience is super complex, and yet we all spend so much time trying to boil things down into one word.
My dog has been sooo clingy this evening lol. No chores, no eating my own food, just only undivided attention on him please.
I don't think I would be excited for a Backrooms movie if it had literally any other director, but I trust Kane Parsons with my life. You should watch People Still Live Here it's really good.
I did not get good sleep the night before, so I've been feeling kinda off the whole day. Now I'm feeling really tired way earlier than usual, so I think it's an early bedtime for me!
All of the tires were in okay/almost bad condition, so I guess this technically knocks out that problem, but still wasn't expecting to have to deal with this so soon after getting this car!
Luckily, I just happen to have the funds to cover this right now, so I guess better now than later this year!
So I guess I ran over a nail with my car last week, puncturing a tire. And since the nail is apparently in the perfect spot that they can't pull it out with potentially damaging something else... I'm now currently waiting on the dealership to put in all brand new tires. Totally a fun expense lol

So in retrospect, not sure why I said my stream would be at 7 PM. I'll be delaying it one hour to 8 PM (about 1 hr 45 minutes from now) so I can take my dog on a walk and get some other things ready. At that time, come by if you wanna say hi!

I'm still continuing the Mario Party streams every other Thursday (finally on to Mario Party 2 now, next one March 26!).
Also, I will be seriously looking into multi-streaming to YouTube at some point too. Just haven't figured out the where and the how yet.
I've been doing my Mario Party streams, but I'm also going to start doing other streams too! Today around 7 PM Central US time, I'm going to spend the first part of the stream working on a new stream layout for me. And then I'll do some not that exciting coding stuff lol.

Overall, I like this car and I think it has a lot of cool stuff. And frankly, if it's stuck with a loud reversing beeping noise, then I guess I'll have to live with it. But it does kind of suck that I'm only a day in and I'm finding some stuff to complain about it lol.
I don't have an issue with a reversing noise, it honestly isn't a bad idea, but an option to turn down the volume would be really helpful. The VESS button, if present, seems to just cancel all the exterior noises altogether, which isn't quite what I'd be looking for.
From what I've seen from forum posts and Reddit and stuff online... there isn't much I can do about it? I'll double check, but I didn't see a "VESS" button in the car, and apparently that isn't found in the US versions of it.
I just hope it isn't loud enough to annoy the neighbors.
So I am learning about my new car, the 2021 Kia Niro hybrid, that it apparently has a loud reversing noise. I could hear it within the car, but it was quiet, so I thought it was just to help remind me that I'm in reverse or something lol. But apparently no, it's outside and it's loud.
So, I have acquired two things!
First, I got a new (to me) car! A 2021 Kia Niro hybrid, I'm pretty excited by it. Nice to have my own vehicle again.
Secondly... I got a cold lol. So I was signing the paperwork and stuff while also blowing my nose and sniffling. 😖
I've been in a bit of a funk since like yesterday afternoon. Want to try to improve my mood tonight, we'll see what happens!
