Trump complains about the US having to rescue Ukraine for the EU, then tries to help get re-elected the one man blocking EU funding for Ukraine - more blatant work on behalf of Putin on aim to grab Ukraine's resources for the US?

Heh heh geh. Glad I'm not the only immigrant who ignores the British 'not after noon' rule on April 1st 😂

I can't stop checking it 😆 I can only imagine the thought and work that's gone into producing something so satisfyingly simple to view. 10/10

Re your article today - is there reliable, definitive data on which Labour voters deserted Corbyn? I thought it was also white working class based on the seats lost but not sure I've ever seen a proper analysis?

Was so lucky to have seen the doc/film about Bill & Peter at the Exeter Phoenix, attended by and Q&A after with Peter and his family. It was fascinating. ❤️

"The coins are the largest known find from the reign of Iron Age king Dubnovellaunos, who ruled the Trinovantes tribe in eastern England between 25BC and AD10."
Were they too cheap for www.artscouncil.org.uk/supporting-a...
Seems mad to let them be exported but maybe many things never get checked,?

Can't help feeling a deal could have been done to make jewellery from replicas, those coins are gorgeous! (I realise there are infinite good ideas and only so many hours in a day....)

I would support a no-export rule, but it also seems like an amount even a county museum could surely have raised to keep them? Were they outbid by someone who would have kept going even higher?

Assumed a huge time and money issue, but genuinely interested in how teacher training will try to resolve the problem. A brilliant high school teacher interviewed my ADHD daughter when she just couldn't crank out a particular essay but he knew she knew the topic. Impossible for whole class though...

Just curious.... Did the women's team get an invite? They won gold too...

And despite residential foster are costing at least £5k a week and often much more, funding for adopted children's therapy remains slashed by at least 60% to max £3k per year...

I'm not convinced it will be strong enough in Gorton to not just usher in Reform the way it did here. I'd rather the Greens push Starmer to govern based on his leadership pledges...

Presumably teacher training has to increasingly focus on ways to assess student knowledge in ways that can't be AI'd?

I agree - and straight polls that don't ask "in your constituency given the voting history, how would you vote tomorrow" drives me crazy, but a blanket Vote Green despite them having virtually no meaningful policies on most mainstream issues also drives me crazy

In Devon this tactic delivered many Reform councillors. I'm stuck with one, despite our Green candidate being a 19yo self-declared "paper candidate" who was off to uni in another city. Labour-Green vote wasn't quite double Reform's vote, but close

Does the Graun house style really use Send and not SEND!?!? Bonkers

Love them. My brain wants to know if / how/ where nudibranches fit in

In my ward in Exeter last year Green votes for a 19yo self-declared "paper candidate" who was shortly off to another city for uni resulted in a Reform councillor. The combined Green- Labour votes were nearly double the Reform votes. I think this happened in 3 wards - one win by about 25 votes IIRC

I like this version of see it, sprint it, sort it

This could use a headline... We shouldn't have to click thru to discover what it's about. We are mostly on our phones and so none of the type on the video is legible

How were the new rules for dual nationals announced? And 4 months to sort all citizenship paperwork for a passport you've never needed before?
Madness.

“Public information advising dual nationals to carry the correct documentation has been available since October 2024.”

How were the dual national rule changes announced that no one covered it? 😡
“Public information advising dual nationals to carry the correct documentation has been available since October 2024 and a substantive communications campaign about the introduction of ETA has been running since 2023.”

Anyone at The Guardian asking to see evidence of this?
