IT WAS lmao it really activated some ancient FEAR cells in the reptilian part of my brain sdfkjhdsfk same probably for my cousin.

Like, in a split-second my brain decided whatever was moving there was moving VERY wrong. As in "eldritch monster that'll kill you" kinda wrong.

But it was just a guy

...alien was strolling our way in some really unnatural, weird swaying motion. I swear my heart skipped a beat bc my brain instantly recognized how unnatural, alien and weird the motions were - then I realized what I was actually looking at. I commented on it and my cousin said he also got spooked.

I once was sitting in the car with my cousin and two other family members and it was also dark outside, and some person came walking down the street towards us and was carrying a black plasic garden chair, and the way the legs moved made it seem like some multi-limbed-

I was really mad at the tumblr trolls for beign shitheads to the point where the authors of the manga felt so discouraged that they pulled the plug on the comic entirely. I really liked Star's work (Hotblood! the comic)

I guess the takeaway for any author/artist should be to not take...

Trust me, the people who attacked this author? They don't care. They wouldn't even care if this person was their last breaths of stage 3 cancer, as long as they get to pretend to be morally superior and harassing them for something they personally see as wrong.

Makes me think of how much the creators of Urbance were attacked on tumblr because some "fans" weren't happy with how they handled gender in their worldbuilding.

I wished products were still made looking like art deco/nouveau pieces.

Everything from that periode seems so whimsical and a real showcase of craftsmanship, from a door to a lamp to lighter to a whole house.

Imo aesthetically we peaked then and there and never truly recovered since.
