Was it Crome?
@aberacon.wales Do you have a group chat on programs like Telegram or Discord? I'd like to chat with other attendees before the event.
I have a soft spot for satyrs.
Sadly, I couldn't cut up with an original piece for Peculiar People Day, but I do have a picture of peculiar person after he found some weird vibes.
Yum.
A gaunt anthropomorphic goat surrounded by purple wisps, with ropes around their limbs, their chest open containing a ghostly light within.
Last year, I drew a picture of a spectre known as the "Hollowed Heretic". In the tales of the Otorlanyss homeworld, the Hollowed Heretic was a soul that suffered a fate so gruesome they became an entity of vengeance and undead fury. Perhaps this year, I should draw more pictures of them.
I think this is certainly one of my more interesting pictures from the previous year. When I found that there was a place that could make custom mats, for gaming or desks, I figured I'd get one made. I'd been meaning to have an updated image of my three characters, and this shows them off well.
Art like this is wonderful, especially as it can help affirm your gender identity.
One of the forms of magic that Dennis uses is a branch of necromancy known as Soul Seeking. It's a more passive form that rather than ensnare unwilling spirits, it's about finding lost ones that want to feel a connection to life again. Mostly because his master wasn't keen on him talking too much.
Anthropomorphic koala wearing rainbow coloured sleeveless top, rainbow shoes, sleeves, shorts, and long socks, and a t shirt saying "Fuzzy Nerd" using a form of magic with varying colours in it.
I am particularly proud of this picture from last year, this one of Dennis as a "Spectrum Sage", a magic user that utilises various disciplines of magic, not necessarily mastering them, but just exploring their possibilities. At some stage, I need to detail what forms of magic he likes to play with.
You know I kind of hoped that Blue Sky wouldn't become Twitter 2.0, where I wouldn't be doom scrolling to find something out of all the negativity. Was that so much to ask?
I fancied a fresh picture.
An anthropomorphic fox, wearing a tweed jacket, waistcoat, and kilt, stood in a wilderness, one leg raised atop a stump, one arm at his waist, the other with a falconry glove and peregrine falcon on it.
A close second favourite from last year would be this picture of my friend that I drew as their Christmas present. They were delighted to open this up, and not just because it was a present, but because I captured them just perfectly.
A picture of an anthropomorphic gryphon, wearing armour and wielding a mace in a battle pose, with the title "Aries - Bird of War" in stylised font.
I was thinking a little about what my favourite pictures were from last year, but this one is certainly it. I drew this for one of my friends for a convention, and they were blown away by it. I just enjoyed the creativity and how it would definitely look like a comic book cover.
It's the year of the furry! Twenty twenty fur!
Well, I've given the dead bird website the old heave ho, let's see if I can do better here.
Incoming! Nerd!
