I’m not sure why she was shoe horned into the plot constantly. All it really did was waste the precious, little time they had.

Not sure if that’s the reason, it was clear to me they made efforts to push him towards survival as early as episode 3 of stargaze. Where they screwed up was wasting time on nothing burger scenes, revoking Vash’s kill shot at Legato and making V + WW allergic to each other in the final.

Don’t mean to reopen old stargaze wounds since it’s been over for about a month now but that’s just something about the ending I really think they screwed up.

to get onto the ships with them. It was another crucial moment that I think was very annoyingly given to Meryl, Milly and Jessica (again) when it really should have been a one on one interaction with Wolfwood.

I also think it would have been way more interesting if Vash was adamant about staying on NML and Wolfwood just said, “ok, guess I’m staying too, then.” It would have been an interesting scene to see Vash experience someone staying behind with him instead of Meryl and Jessica pestering him

I feel like that also would have mirrored the original Eriks arc too, with Wolfwood being the one to show up and bring him back.

Going to get Vash at his house and fixing up his hair and giving him his old coat shouldn’t have been a group activity with Meryl at the central focus again. I think it should have been Wolfwood alone to go see him and remind Vash that he’s not alone anymore.

When their relationship is so critical to the point that Vash intended to take a life for Wolfwood, it was just really bizarre to just have them say nothing to each other in the final.

Believe me, I wasn’t expecting for them to make VashWood canon or anything, I was just dissatisfied with the fact that Vash and Wolfwood literally had zero interaction with each other in the final episode. Their dynamic is arguably the most important in the series.

One thing I think I’m always gonna have a gripe with Stargaze about is the fact that they worked so hard to make an outcome for Wolfwood to survive only for them to just…not do anything with him in the end.
