Ubiquiti launches new UXG-Fiber, compatible with HostiFi New UXG Fiber offers 2.5GbE switch, one PoE output and 5 Gbps routing with IDS/IPS

The headlines last week were the new Cloud Gateways, but ICYMI - Ubiquiti actually launched a brand new UXG-Fiber too!

It has 5Gbps+ routing with IDS/IPS, a 2.5GbE switch with one PoE+ output and best of all, it works with HostiFi UniFi controllers , which btw are only $9/month.

If you can't Apply Changes to your UniFi AP try disabling LED and then enabling it again

We just released HostiFi Device Discovery Tool version 2.1.2 for Windows, macOS, and Linux adding support for USW-Flex-2.5G-5 adoption!

To update simply open the app and wait a few seconds then you'll be prompted to update

The iOS and Android update will be released tomorrow

CyberSecure by Proofpoint has been tested and is working on HostiFi servers now!

We learned that it requires UXG-Max, UXG-Pro, or UXG-Enterprise

UXG-Lite is not supported

We haven't been able to figure out how to get CyberSecure subscriptions working on our servers yet but we're checking into it

We made a new support article on how to migrate to the new UniFi Zone-Based Firewall!

TLDR requires UniFi 9 and beta UXG firmware 4.1

We are working on an update for the HostiFi Device Discovery Tool to add support for adopting the new UniFi Flex Mini 2.5G switches

Our tool is the only way to layer 3 adopt these devices because they don't have an SSH interface
