I, did not know this. How bizarre!

Photo taken during twilight of the moon rising. I stood in such a way as to create a perspective that made it appear like the moon was balanced on the arm of the utility pole. It is a full moon and because it is low on the horizon, it has a soft orange hue to it and the craters are visible as gray areas. This was a hard shot to get because I was doing it handheld with a 600mm telephoto lens.

In honor of the NASA launch of Artemis this evening, the crewed mission that will go to the moon, here’s an old shot of mine.
