@mikeflanaganfilm.com @stephenking.bsky.social watching The Life of Chuck. Love it so far, I'm 30 minutes in. I cannot help but feel that the book was inspired a bit by Philip K. Dick's Ubik for some reason. Really looking forward to getting to the meat of it.

I have zero leads but best of luck with your hunt, I'm sure you'll find a great place to work with that resume!
I'm genuinely curious what a firing offense looks (sounds) like at Fox.
If any of the pages looks like this, humanity is doomed.
These same people also don't care about anything that happens to other people until it affects them personally.
Just watched Platoon. Haven't seen it in a long, long time. Stacked cast, boy. I'm reminded of three things. One, my father's reaction to it (he served two tours with the 25th Infantry, Tropic Lightning). Two, The Naked Gun. Three, "I loved you in Wall Street!" IYKYK...
Dude, thanks very much. I really hope you enjoy them. I have written books four and five (not released yet) and I'm on book six but my energy level to write has been in the pits. Plus I've been working on another project. I'm gonna DM you about it. I think you'll get a kick out of it.
Eh, it's OK. Hey, let me know if you'd like a free kindle ebook copy. Happy to send it to you.
It means that someone read one page and then didn't keep reading. Blahhhh.
Another month, another page. Awesome.

At what point did Martin Scorsese become a David Lean-esque filmmaker? It's got to either be Goodfellas or Casino, & probably the latter. The breadth of that film is just unreal. The sets, the locations, the amount of extras. I'm watching Gangs of New York and the man never looked back after Casino.
Nothing like watching A Fistful of Dollars and hearing the Ministry sample. Haven't gotten to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly yet.

Love that Doug Bradley was the voice of the Technicians in #Invincible.
Yooooooo.

I know I'm late to the party but... Favorite movie that isn't on everyone's top 100?
So, I haven't sold a book since 10/24. I've offered free copies for anyone who might want one. No takers. I have 2 books written & started a 3rd & haven't written a word in a month. I don't want anyone reading this to buy one of my books. I just want anyone who self-published to know that I get it.
Saint Godards church. I wonder if that's a call out to Jean-Luc Godard.
I wonder if Brad Anderson and Stephen Gevedon were inspired by this film. I'm reminded of the line, "I live in the weak and the wounded."
John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness is on Amazon Prime Video. It's been a while since I've watched it. 11 minutes of storytelling and credits and fantastic music so far. Loving this film all over again.
Watching Trap on @netflix.com and I'm getting some huge Hitchcock vibes, along with De Palma. Specifically his Snake Eyes movie, which I'm a huge fan of. So far so good.
Oooh. That's a great idea. I'll send them a message tomorrow.
"A" court order? Just the one?
On a chilly November night in 1943, railroad station agent John McKinsey is inundated with strange passengers. Passengers with tickets for a train that shouldn’t exist.

THE INSTITUTE X SUCH SHARP TEETH X STRANGER THINGS
To Shasha the war with the Tenocks was ancient history until she finds a boy hiding in the desert. They say he can read minds, move objects with his mind, and burn skin to ash with just a touch. All he wants is a friend...

I know I'm late to the party but I just watched both Cuckoo and Longlegs on Hulu and holy cow. Those are top quality horror films, boy. #horrormovies #hulu
Spineless. He's overstayed his welcome in American politics.
You mean these same CEOs that gave him money hand over fist so that he wouldn't do exactly what he's doing? Those CEOs? Fuck them.
Any of you out there down about your work and struggling with being creative and all that, please give Dolemite Is My Name a watch on Netflix. It's an unbelievably inspiring film.
Boy, the Washington Post keeps trying to find a new bottom on the daily. I wish them the best of luck.
I'm watching The Sum of All Fears and they mention Elena Rhyzkov. IYKYK.
If you don't know, that's a character from Sneakers, also directed by Phil Alden Robinson.
