Got hit with the 4 day a week, 2 Fridays mandatory per month, return to office mandate.

I have been thriving wfh, with 1 day in office for so long, I'm already mourning how happy I've been.

Back to the 4 hour commutes, no time to cook, no time to workout.... Just work, home, eat, sleep and repeat.

Once again, as a native New Yorker, there's absolutely no way I would ever go see the ball drop in Times Square. Plus, it's a thunderstorm right now. That's an unequivocal hell naw.

In other news, I got dinged in an apt inspection for having an air conditioner in the window, regardless of having another window free for egress. My apt is so old, the windows aren't up to spec and are only 19" wide. The minimum to have an ac in the one window is 24" 😭

My bed is right next to a window so I always get woken up by the sun, no matter what time I went to sleep. Naturally, there's some days I need to sleep in, so I finally bought an eye mask and let me tell you... I snoozed til 8am today and it was so great 👍🏿😃

Companies can choose where to spend their dollars and it doesn't only affect social media. Companies like Doubleverify and Integral Ad Science help advertisers actively block spend on any website that doesn't align with where the company thinks their advertising should be shown.
