Ari, my generational error aside, please read my comment as a real issue that requires addressing. It isn’t as black and white, at least in my urban area.. easy and safe access is key… my parents and their siblings see the only viable means of access as a car.

Or perhaps a different view.. the aging in place of the greatest generation, their need to continue to have what they believe is safe and convenient access to basic things (food, pharmacy etc) and their view that this has traditionally been accomplished by car.
