One of the things I loved about the Heroism system in Last Caravan was the way it drove the player to take actions that were good for the type of game it was looking to make AND had unique prompts for different playbooks.

This meant that players were always driven towards dramatic, archetypal play.

I’ve been playing around with this a bit, and it’s really cool (as a standalone game, worldbuilding tool, or PC backstory generator).

My alien lost his father to dementia, his mother in the planet’s collapse, then was radicalized by alien researchers who chose earth as their target for conquest.

Solo games aren't my thing, but damn this is an amazing cover. Also, if you're not aware, The Last Caravan is a #TTRPG about a road trip through a frozen apocalypse to get to safety in the aftermath of an alien invasion. It's FitD-like, but lighter rules-wise than BitD, and just a cool game.
