Spent the afternoon and evening celebrating one of the most beautiful couples we have the privilege to know.
Amongst the many beautiful touches were the party favours - books hand-selected and dedicated to the guests by the couple, who are amongst the biggest book nerds known

Fair! My CD acquisition rate has dropped off fairly sharply of late (coinciding with when I had to confront the prospect of moving my collection), but I almost exclusively buy either “special special” new ones, or older discs that aren’t economical or able to be picked up digitally.

I know I’m complicit in my own extortion and might be the only person still buying CDs, but this is what happens when your album release is laser-focused on a demographic which traditionally has high levels of disposable income.
