Well, then why does it say "boarding school" at all?

I live in Bangor and this is a BS attack. Bye now! Please don't write back.

Platner never boarded to Bapst, so that screenshot is misleading. He always commuted.

Well, Platner's Bapst experience was vetted in depth months ago. And nobody in Maine cares.

Who cares? Parents want their kids to go to good high schools and Platner got a lot out of the experience. I've had criticisms of him for real thins. Nobody holds this against him.

It's just unbelievably weird to harp on Platner going to Bapst for high school. It's a really good school.

From Sullivan, it's 15 minutes longer to Bapst than to MDI High School. Not terribly significant. And who cares?

So anyway, the flu vaccine is a requirement to enter a lot of countries - including our allies and partners. We're just gonna let troops decide deploying is a pain in the ass and not get vaxxed so they don't have to go?

Oh, I’m quite sure the pro-vax side would win again. Maine had a huge uptake in COVID vaccines, either excellent outcomes relative to other states.

Well, yes, some are always classified.

Tim Rich for U.S. Senate Tim Rich is running for U.S. Senate as an independent to challenge political corruption, lower costs for families, and put Maine ahead of party politics.

There's one independent trying to get on the ballot for the Maine Senate race. I'm not sure if there are more. www.mainefortim.com#0

Bapst is a better high school.

Kevin Warsh just lost me. He argues he's going to be an independent Fed Chair, but refuses to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election. If you can't state simple facts when you're in the political spotlight, you aren't independent. You're a coward.

King will never stop doing normal politics.

There are plenty of real things to criticize Platner for. Don't make things up.

Well, why wouldn't a sitting governor attend events with a sitting senator? Elected officials don't stop doing that during elections.

And Platner never boarded at Bapst. He always commuted.

Yes, but there was a time when the local high school failed accreditation so Bapst was eligible for tuitioning for Platner. This was discussed months ago.

"We lost 13 men"

At least three of these fatalities were women:
♦️Capt. Ariana Savino
♦️Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt
♦️Sergeant First Class Nicole Amor

I found this out with about 30 seconds of Googling.
The Commander-in-Chief still doesn't know.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with King. Please explain.

This is unbelievably sad. It's so great that Mainers voted in a landslide to protect and expand vaccinations for students. #mepolitics

Platner definitely got a good HS education. However, most of his time at Bapst was with free tuition, I believe, and he commuted there and back. (If a Maine school district doesn't have a high school, the state will cover tuition costs for an alternative. Probably most Bapst students get that.)

Good point. But then if he's the nominee, as seems likely, Collins will say that Platner recognized that seniority matters and Maine will give it up with him. I think he has to avoid gaslighting Mainers about seniority while hitting her on what's been a strength for her.

1 hour ago 0 0 1 0

Platner was the one who explicitly referenced seniority.

Way to miss the point.

The Platner campaign says they have 15,000 volunteers. Field is not a magic bullet but door knocking by committed volunteers can move results by a few percentage points -- and Collins won in 2020 with 51%. If the campaign can get and keep those volunteers doing the work, that's a real plus.

Well, yes, if Platner sinks significantly and no doubt there will be new material, at least some of which will be actual smears. I expect Swift boating. There is real risk there and people saying otherwise are fooling themselves, but we don't know how effective the attacks will be.

Killing with Kindness Why Platner and Mills are crediting Susan Collins while challenging her

A key is undermining what's been a Collins strength, her claims that she helps Maine. There is some truth to that and the GOP has already devoted a lot of $ to ads about it, but she's also let Trump and Vought run roughshod. Needs strategic attention.
