I'm half way through reading Harrowmaster at the minute and I'm very much enjoying. The "we're space marines, but not like other space marines" is playing out nicely, the human interactions always help in that regard. The Inquistors are a lovely duo, I still can't figure out if Hart is a wrong 'un ๐ค

Amazing work
Never a truer word spoken ๐
4 Dark Angels Dreadnoughts with varied weaponry

Nurgle Hellbrute with plasma cannon and scythe
Hellbrute, Dreadnought.....same thing innit?
Thank you. Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that I need to finish one project before starting the next.
If anyone got a Defiler today and needs someone to paint it get in touch, Iโm dying to play around with that kit
5 plague marines and a plague surgeon
A few more plague marines finished up.

A kitbashed imperial navigator
Today has been a kitbashing day. I love it when a Combat Patrol issue actually has something in it worth while. This week's Jakhals seem to call out Imperial Navigator to me.

5 rotten looking pestigors
The full 10 model unit all finished
5 more pestigors done, and that's another unit off the unpainted pile.

A kitbashed inquistor lord armed with a bolt pistol and the Imperial truth(ish).
New project time! I'm nearly at the end of my Deathguard project and I've loved the kitbash potential it had. Imperial Agents seems like it'll have the same possibilities. I've started with an Inquistor as I'm not a fan of the named character ones.

A plague marine captain with some odd warp shenanigans going on. His antlers are glowing green.....which is something ๐คจ
A quick head swap and nurgling repositioning and we're done. I can't tell if the nurgling is magic, or it's the antlers?

Hi Iโm Val/Gyr, Iโve been playing since 5th ed 40k but lost a bunch in a housefire. Rejoined in 10th, Iโm all-in on Genestealer Cults now!
5 rather rotten looking pestigors for my Deathguard army
5 pestigors
That's 5 plague bearers done. The eagle eyed among you may notice that these aren't actually plague bearers, but rather the new AoS pestigors as they're a significantly better model in all respects. Same weapon options and base size was also handy.

Thank you
A darkoath warrior with sword and shield. She wears mainly greens and browns
A better picture of the leather shield
A back shot showing her tartan pants.
Mini of the month time again. She seemed a decent reason to have a go at tartan(ish) painting on her pants. Arguably the best thing about MotM is having a go at something new.

Thank you. Say what you want about GW, but their kits are unbelievably easy to convert - which is handy for any Deathguard player ๐
A rather rusty predator with a crab like turret.
A frontal view of the extra eyes.
A side view showing the turret and the crab legs
The three eyes on the back
That's my 30k for 40k predator all finished up. I think I'll be safe from losing it in a crowd ๐

Hi folks! I'm new here! I paint silly miniatures usually with bright and colorful schemes. I'm pretty new to the hobby with less than 2 years under my belt. Looking forward to share my miniature painting journey with you all!
A heavily soiled 30k Deathguard predator

A side profile shot showing the crab like turret.
Crap wip photos! If anyone is wondering how GW come up with all those potato camera pics, my guess is a Samsung S23 in automatic mode ๐ฌ

A somewhat not normal 40k predator. The turret has grown legs and stands on top of the rhino chassis. It has also developed a lot of eyes.

Ok, now we're cooking. I think thats all the plastic chopping and sticking done. I need to do some milliput work and texturing before my holiday to Scotland next week.

Yeah, there is an exception to every rule ๐
Thank you. I determined to have a very individual looking army by the end of it all.
I think if you're going to do a chaos legion you really should be going all in on the conversions.
A walking turret that sits on a predator (30k) tank. Everything is cool, honestly, this is how they come off the production line ๐คจ
Nothing to see here ๐คข๐คฎ

I'm going "Full send" on this Deathguard predator. WIP on the turret so far.

Jazzy pre-shading on 5 plague marines.
I get asked quite a lot about how I start my Deathguard minis. The first (and dare I say it, most important) step is smashing on random contrast paints. That sometimes gets a "which ones and which areas do you paint" response, but just to prove it, I smash the first layer on.....no planning at all.
Perfect scenario. Great painting and quick, win/win!
Thank you. I find splashing random contrast paints on over the primer really helps with pops of colour.
