I’ve just had the rather fabulous news that I’m now a confirmed member of the Critical Care Explorations editorial board, as agreed by council.

CCE is the official open-access, peer-reviewed journal of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. I’m pretty chuffed! 😁

NHS managers at (Agenda for Change) bands 6-8a line manage up to 80% of NHS people. These “frontline” leaders have an outsize influence on NHS performance. See eg: bcg.com/publications... by BCG.
I'm spending tomorrow with 4 NHS systems seeking ways to unleash the potential of frontline managers

Very proud (& relieved!) to have pulled this together with incredible support from colleagues.

Thanks to our fab speakers for taking the time to prepare, travel & speak at our event; to colleagues who submitted posters of incredible work to transform patient care; & to attendees for joining us ❤️

A fantastic day yesterday at our first ever AHP & Health Science Research, Innovation and Improvement conference in North Wales! Aimed at inspiring clinician confidence, both novice & expert, in the “art of the possible”, & to encourage participation at every level.
