The ICE surge cost Minneapolis $200 million in just one month. That’s before overtime, charter flights, and detention contracts.

Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidize their own trauma.

A veto of the 60-day pre-eviction notice tells people that you want them evicted into the cold earlier and that you’re unwilling to protect our immigrant neighbors.

At today’s City Council meeting, we unanimously approved $500,000 in additional funding for immigration legal services.

We also approved $1,000,000 in rental assistance with a 9-4 vote. A spokesperson for Mayor Frey said he would not comment on the proposal until after we take it up. 1/

Why won't the government answer a simple question?

It's yes or no? Is there a criminal investigation into X itself?

This government is more concerned about being viewed favourably by Big Tech than protecting the public.
