"In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such..."
If you have any information at all on these plans, now is the time to share it. Reach me on Signal at marisakabas.04
Im really scared of what these bastards plan to do tonight. I don't have a clever analysis or a joke or take. I hope its all bluster and when tomorrow comes I'll want to get back to promoting my little book and flirting and making jokes, but im full of dread and just want to hold all of you close 🫂🫂
(202) 224-3121 is the capitol switchboard for connecting to any senate or house office; even if you've never called; even though the lot of them are useless. no abominable war crimes, no war, no.
Six million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust, two out of three Jews in Europe. What a disgusting thing to imply that any Jews were murdered because of their ideas as opposed to because the genocidal Nazi death machine took over much of the continent and marked all Jews for death.

NEW: Under AG Pam Bondi, the DOJ has dropped 23,000 criminal cases — including hundreds of investigations into terrorism, white-collar crime and drugs — while prosecuting 32,000 new immigration cases in just the first six months of Trump’s second term.
i’ve always said the generally hellish experience of going through TSA would be improved by bringing in other federal agents with no understanding of airports who love to shoot people
My alabaster milk child Teuton keeps asking for ranch dressing at the caviar factory, it is most epic. The fishmongers despise him.
No matter how many good interviews Tucker does about Israel, he is still one of the ideologues who pushed the mass kidnapping of immigrants into our metastasizing concentration camp system
No snappy sound bytes will wash him clean
The amount of war misinformation on Twitter is insane rn but what’s fascinating is that most of it seems to be coming from the Iranian/anti American side

“Mohammed, five, Othman, seven, who was blind and had special needs, their mother Waad Bani Odeh, 35, and father Ali Bani Odeh, 37, were driving through their hometown of Tamoun late on Saturday when Israeli forces opened fire.”
Shot in the head and face. Executed with their parents. No words.
I am old enough to remember the vitriol directed at random humanities scholars' work complaining about the totalizing tendencies of capitalism to corrupt, colonize, or co-opt everything. I also lived long enough to read long term coverage of the literal attempt to privatize thinking in the newspaper
it’s unreal how these grown-ass men had no problem destroying untold lives with chatGPT but go crying to a judge when people make fun of them online

I guess I just didn’t expect that I’d have to go to work during the apocalypse.
I'm one of many professors quoted in this report from Alice Speri. I really appreciate The Guardian taking an angle which has basically eluded every other major outlet.
