Theraplay is quite new to me and I enjoyed reading this, thank you! Interesting reflections on practice implications… It makes me wonder how it might be possible for LA EPs to engage in more direct therapeutic work with children and families over time
So well written with empathy, understanding, and a critical analysis of the available research
Is this more relevant to learning that is imposed (national curriculum) rather than self-driven? At what point do we stop wanting to learn more and find it effortful and disheartening?
I love how busy toddlers are. They move things about with such purpose! Then there’s the random shouting when things don’t go as planned, and the beginnings of self-regulation peeping through when you hear “oh dear try again”.
Of course
Hello Bluesky world! I’m a mummy and EP. I realise from writing this that I need more interests and hobbies to better define myself… oh I have two nutty doggies too
