Forgot to mark the 3200 iso ran at 800 iso but came out alright, I'll sit down to actually understand photo editing this weekend I think.

It seems to be so far this week that morning routing and timings are fine but once you get to 5pm and beyond bunching becomes endemic, cancellations (continue) to not be reported, and chronic tracker technology issues further worsening the whole experience

Well trying a 15 to 11 transfer to avoid going down to Decatur station and catching another bus has given me the now 40 minute opportunity to see 3 NB 15s, 2 SB 15s, 1 tracked NB 11, 1 ghost NB 11, and exactly 0 SB 11s - which is what I need lol

The one 11 on the tracker popped up as it drove by me

on the 2 line the past two days have been severe bus bunching after 30 minutes of no bus (we had four show up at once on Monday around 5pm) and the seniors (many of whom mention being decade plus riders) are the most verbally upset because they have a vital dependence on MARTAs routes and timings.

The best time to get mad about everyone being forced to drive is simultaneously decades ago, today, and everyday for the next few centuries.

We cannot settle for anything less than a public green energy revolution and future generations won't either.

Major rework but honestly retail isn't wrong

He's so mid lol. Mamdani is the first person to ever get me to admit that maybe it's not just Chicago that's the greatest city in the world

Sorry for no alt text. Screenshot of Atlantaga.gov mayors office press release page showing various releases on weekends and weekdays on myriad topics including a release dated today about World Cup things

They 1) do press releases on weekends and 2) released a press statement today - I think one of the most robust public transit systems in the South/SE doing a major retail of their bus network for the first time in decades merits at least something.

He was the transit guy on council.

I'm being very snarky because Mamdani is a reminder of the baseline for what mayors of "world class cities" should be. Not that Dickens has ever or will ever be that.

Since MARTA seems to have largely pulled off the bus network redesign well, shouldn't the Mayor applaud them for innovation and efficiency or do we just reserve that for snake oil transportation ventures nowadays?

Honestly impressed with the improvements in the speed and reliability of the new routes (mainly 2, former 2/102 rider) in just the past three days. I'm hopeful for the Rapid A line, although it's certainly going to need an adjustment period for all.

Great work aside from a few lesser quibbles!

a black and white design that reads "you could learn a lot from a lesbian." to the right of the text are various items such as carabiners, a boot, a lollipop, a hammer, a boot, an apple, a lighter, cherries, a bouquet of flowers, a butterfly wing, and many stars. the entire image is textured to be grainy.

Employees and ambassadors said there's some bunching but overall Rapid A Line seems to be going well. The state of the stations that haven't been built tho is pretty funny. The Fulton Gov Center has the same complication that the MLK bike lane does tho of houseless folks gathering in the lane a lot

Well it looks like MARTA is at least getting the frequencies right on the Neo-2 bus route. Now to join my fellow foamer sickos in riding the new Rapid A line

It surprised no one at work or any of my friends that I was excited to ride buses and trains on a Saturday. In my defense, it helps me finish Gideon the Ninth quicker

Mamdani hasn't had time to really think about all that space he now has, because he spends most of his time at City Hall and around New York City. He tries to keep a semblance of his old life by getting around the city on foot, by bike or train.

"If you spend every single day driving around in a tinted window security detail, you will have a very specific view of the city," he said. "You actually meet other New Yorkers and you break out of the bubble that so many have come to expect of politics, where politicians only seem to be spending time with other politicians or the people who donated to make them politicians."

I'd say that this applies to anyone traveling in a car in any city. Being in a car versus walking, riding, or taking transit fundamentally changes how you view a place and your relationship to it. I wish more leaders set this kind of example.
