I knew it was translated from the original French musical (I weirdly had that cassette too for some reason) but I don't speak French so I assumed it was a close-to-same-words translation from one to the other.
It's been done in MANY different languages too - I wonder how many others are like this?

Great capture! The atmosphere was PERFECT in the Midwest for this. It was lovely.
Interesting! As someone who wore out his cassette tape of that soundtrack in college, this is, well, unexpected.
My very unscientific thought is that
1) Republicans are going to get absolutely crushed in the midterms. Gas prices may go down, but people aren't feeling any economic love.
Therefore...he may actually resign. Well, "leave" on his own terms, whatever that may be.
2. Worse? No. Bad? Yes.
Yay you!! May the inspiration flow through you onto the canvas.
Thank you! It sounds amazing and is really pretty too.
I hope you get to enjoy the hibernating and painting soon!
Superb!
Needle Galaxy ๐ชก- a beautiful edge on spiral seen almost perfectly side on from our viewpoint here on Earth. That bright central bulge is packed with stars, while the thin dark lane is dust blocking the light behind it, giving it that striking needle like appearance. #astro
I've discovered that most people aren't prepared for much of any inconvenience lasting longer than 5 minutes, sadly....
I bought a Gibson Les Paul electric guitar yesterday. It's been my dream guitar for 30+ years and now I (finally!) have one. ๐๐ธ
Glad you were safe! The big one that hit Kankakee missed our house by about 6 miles. Still too close for comfort.
You got power back yet?
Apparently. But one would think that *eventually* shareholders might start to notice?
I proofread this three times, and somehow either missed the "us" spelled as "is" or autocorrect cast its evil spell....again.

I would simply like to point out that space science is quite literally ONE OF THE THINGS THAT ACTUALLY MAKES IS GREAT!
Defunding it will make us, well...
not so great anymore, which is dumb AF.
(I say this notwithstanding all the other general stupidity floating around the White House.)
I was intrigued by this, but the first thing I noticed when viewing the satellite map is the town appears to have been built in a flood plain. When I researched if it's flooded before, it has routinely in the past, because... it's located in a flood plain, despite the average low annual rainfall.
I'm still at a loss as to why Elon Musk still has such lofty company valuations and gets free passes from investors despite years of broken promises and not meeting self-imposed goals or deadlines.
So now millennials *should* buy avocado toast?
These rules are so confusing.
It's almost like those who actually have won should get to set the terms of the deal....oh wait, they did.
And it's not us. ๐ซช
So we went to war - err...conducted a "military operation" - to degrade Iran's nukes and leadership.
And the Iranians got/demand: A more hard-line leadership, Strait of Hormuz $2,000,000 per ship toll, all U.S. military leave region & no sanctions.
That about right?
And that's "winning"?
Huh.
This is the stuff they say is going to take everyone's jobs.
Hmmm....
For those with range anxiety, no place to charge or live in an area where EV is impractical (the last one is me), my hybrid (Kia Niro) takes all of 8 gallons to fill the tank and gets like 45-50 mpg.
When was that?
It truly was my dream garden.
And then we moved.... ๐ซช
This bird looks like a real life Muppet to me.

Off the top of my head:
Bering Strait (Alaska, Russia)
Strait of Gibraltar (Europe/Africa , Mediterranean)
Straits of Magellan (southern tip of South America)
A vegetable garden showing tall tomato and corn plants.
True story.
First quarter standing with the terminator almost vertical in a black sky. Many craters can be seen in detail along the terminator with long shadows falling across the crater floors.
