Agreed!
Heading to Buffalo next weekend for a talk in a 4 person read ahead workshop. The last time I attended it was amazing.
Happy to be back. Looking forward to talking about assisted dying policies with students in the college-in-prison program tomorrow.

Taking some time.
I'm basically responding to the first of her four claims, that disability is like other features. This has always made me somewhat uncomfortable. I think we should be pluralistic in assessing the nature of disadvantage associated or not associated with some features such as disability.
I'm finishing up a piece opposing the mere difference view held by Barnes that I hope carves a middle ground between stronger opponents like Savulescu, and her.
Send me a note if interested as well. Some excellent reviews are coming out soon and some wonderful books have just come in.
Dynamite cover!
Congrats!
So she sees the value of the humanities?
Very sorry that MSPs have voted down Assisted Dying in Scotland. Sorry for terminally ill people, and sorry that Parliaments are again obstructing the will of the people.
I'm going to be a part of a panel tonight discussing the College-in-Prison Program I teach in. I'm excited to share my amazing experiences thus far.
Utica hockey lost in the national quarter finals tonight. I feel badly for my students. They outperformed expectations and outplayed their opponent, out-shooting them 3 to 1. That's a pretty crazy margin for hockey. Get em next year!
Thanks you engaging! I'll send you a DM about my work on the challenge and my stuff elsewhere. I hope you're well!
But my work endorses such a right. So I'm not disagreeing that it ought to be permitted.
I'm not certain I understand the last part of your claim. Can you elaborate? And given the legal challenges, there seems to be a bunch worthy of discussion.
I'm giving a talk at SUNY Buffalo at the end of April on MAiD in Canada and the Mentler Application. If anyone is around there, drop me a line.
My institution wrote something about my experience publishing with a student.

Our society has clearly taken a left turn in our turn away from single use appliances to cook processed meats.
Mine seems wayyyyy crazier and more dangerous. "Controlled" electrocution of your glizzy.
Ps...not in a weird way
..just a "holy crap, that's super dangerous and over engineered nonsense, I bet he would find this hilarious" way.
An old appliance with the word hot dogs on it, that electrocutes the hot dog. It appears to be made by Oscar mayer.
On an unrelated note, I thought of you the other day when I saw this.
What a lovely audience and a positive experience. I had some great questions and learned a lot!
