LET’S TAKE A WIN, SHALL WE? Yesterday morning, 4/7, Donald Trump threatened genocide on the people of Iran. His words alone are considered by experts to be a war crime.
And then, ordinary people flooded congressional phone lines at nearly 20,000 calls per hour demanding Congress block Trump from bombing Iran. Not lobbyists. Not politicians. People with five minutes and a phone or a computer. That is what democracy in action looks like — and it was happening all day, at a scale that is impossible to ignore.
