It's been an exciting and stimulating morning exploring the potential of robotics, AI and allied technologies. We’ve tackled the obstacles to success, the potential applications of the tech, and the risk of our region falling behind the rest of the country and the rest of the world.
Lancashire is a hotbed of advanced manufacturing which could give us a head start to develop a ‘living lab’, and we've convened experts from industry and our universities to explore applications in health and care.
Robotics, AI and Autonomous systems is a focus today.
