Thanks greatly for your support! I'm working on the 2000s volume, but it's too early to provide a date of publication.

When I sent him the transcript, I was PRAYING that he wouldn't strike that comment. And obviously, he didn't.
In my recording, you can hear my pen drop out of my hand when he told me he was doing a lot of cocaine. ๐Ÿ˜„ (/3)

So I encouraged him to continue the interview and promised to send him a full transcript once for his perusal and approval. If he wanted to remove the comment at that point, I assured him that I would honor his wishes... (/2)

What you don't see in that transcript is Mike Baron actually stopping the interview at that point. He initially wanted to strike his comment from the record, but I saw "interview gold"... (/1)

Yes, I'm currently working on a 2000s volume, and we have someone at the helm of a "pre-1940s" volume. (It doesn't just cover the 1930s but everything comic book-related that leads up to 1939. We'll probably title it "the 1930s" just for consistency sake.)
We're in the beginning stages. No ETA.

Actually, BOTH the second 1960s volume AND the 1980s volume are being reprinted. So they'll both be available soon. (I'm very grateful to the publisher's commitment to keeping every volume in print.)

My publisher noticed this before I did, and yeah, neither of us were happy about it.
