Maybe. Just doesn't make sense to our brain. We tend to take things extremely literally, so the phrase just doesn't work for us.

Wonder if there's some sort of questionnaire you can take that tells you what you're considered based on your answers
We did adopt "fronting" because it does a good job at conveying what it is. I don't even remember what we used to call it.
We don't care for "host" though. It sorta undermines how we think of one another. Shui might front more than anyone else, but that's just being the most assertive one
Having never been part of any plural communities, we tend not to use all of the typical terminology. We didn't know what everyone else decided on, so we made up our own words.
Like we don't use "alters". We've always just said "headmates" and kinda like that better
