Come into the black hole with meeeee! I fixated on Gorgar for many years before finally jumping and getting one. It’s how it starts. :) Seriously tho it’s so fun, all the learning, messing around in that mess of wiring, constantly fixing shit, it’s just great.
Xenon is so great! I also love pinball manuals - I have originals for my two machines (Gorgar and Pin-bot) and love the fold-out large format schematic sheets.
Wow. Just describing writing as a zero to one process is so fucked up. I mean, describing creating anything as a zero to one process is so fucked up.

a screenshot of a design of a 2d lineart guillotine. It has decorative flourishes with little hearts on the top and bottom, and words running down each side that say "Eat The Rich" and "There U Glow". On the left is a black and white version, on the right a black and gold one.
More progress on designing a soldering kit badge this year for my femme/queer electronics camp.
Compliments please, I'm very very tired and pushing super hard and could use them.
Slip you stitches until your needles are at that point and then yep, I use a crochet hook to pull the loop thru and stick it back on the needle. Repeat around. The one to the left of that one looks like 2 stitches and the bigger loop all the way to the left is a few more.
Your second problem is clearly the worse one. 😂 The loops are definitely dropped stitches and now that you’ve got your stitches back on the needles and proper count. you can def go back and fix them. The rightmost looks like a single stitch - you can see the skipped one in the middle.
And the previous year's on getting 3D printed parts made for production runs. Because not everything needs an injection-molded solution despite what people will tell you. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bTh...
Somehow I completely missed when #teardown2025 talks went live - here's mine on navigating battery regulations. Bonus butts in one of my slides. 😏 Also, the CFP for Teardown 2026 ends on the 15th so get your proposal in! www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwUG...
ahhhhhhh they look rad!
Surfacing this in case there's more folks into making my Maker Rig make sense.
A friend once described my whole vibe as "No, you move". I'm years in. I'm the real deal. I do 90%. You make the last 10%.

It is really helpful to get comfy with frogging and picking up stitches again if one drops down, because then you don’t have to be afraid of mistakes! It is all practice practice, yes! It is also 100% ok to leave a mistake in and just finish the project. :)
knitting advice deployed!
If the issue is what I wrote, there’s not really an easy fix that’s not frogging.
For fixing - my advice, knowing that you said you didn’t want to do this, is to get comfortable at frogging or unknitting. Don’t hesitate, it’s all part of making things. You can’t engineer without iterating either. Believe it or not, 85 stitches isn’t too bad. :)
Its hard to say exactly from the photos, but my guess is that after you picked up your stitches, instead of knitting them, you accidentally turned your work and knit back across, accidentally doing a “short row”. Otherwise, if you lost a row, there would a loop of yarn across those stitches on back.
