Oh yes, Great Cobble access ladder-stile. Took lots of pix of the panorama and cameo aspects with my proper camera, but missed the ladder-stile with the less than smart phone.
Gosh which stile? I came over from Sunny Brow by Iron Keld to the summit then down by Low Arnside (which featured in the children’s novel “Fell Farm Holiday) to Colwith.
Looking west from Black Crag… fabulous today. Bow Fell and over Lingmoor Fell the Langdale Pikes.
Eight-day 66-mile linear bus stop to bus stop fell walking tour crossing just one fell each day starting and ultimately finishing at the steps of the Moot Hall in Keswick (just like the 66-mile Bob Graham Round). The eight fells plucked from each of my Fellranger guides.
Am drawing Dove Crag this evening one of the illustrations for my next block buster guide THE FELLRANGER ROUND.

Talking to knowledgable audience can be daunting. As I've got older I've taken the view it's my personality that I am presenting not facts. I tend to hide behind my art.
