We must not allow FF-FG to scrap the triple lock. It'd mean that they will be sending our young people abroad to fight and die in imperialist wars for the US / NATO.

Public opinion overwhelmingly shows that people do not want this, but we have to show them on the streets that we will not stand by.

This is blatant victimisation for union activity.

Sonya should be reinstated, this should be condemned by government, and government should meet with the workers and instruct the HSE to treat them properly.

The workers at Northside Home Care will continue to fight with their union the IWU.

For the workers at Edmondstown, many of whom have served our community for years, it means their jobs and work-life balance being turned upside down.

This is a service that works. Instead of uprooting it, An Post should be investing in it.

An Post are talking about moving the Edmondstown sorting office all the way to Lucan - and residents of Firhouse, Rathfarnham, Knocklyon and Whitechurch would pay the price.

For anyone who needs to collect a parcel or missed delivery, this move could mean a long trip across the city.

Scrapping the triple lock would mean that they will be sending our young people abroad to fight and die in imperialist wars for the US / NATO.

The legitimate protest actions taken by fuel protesters (that forced the government to make limited concessions) are the reason this ‘no confidence’ vote is taking place.

We need to fight for a left government, that will take on the interests of those who profit off the crises ordinary people face, instead of ruling in the interests of them like FF-FG.

Don't be distracted by those that are trying to divide people, and redirect people's righteous anger at government policy against people because of their race, sexuality, etc.

Make sure you're not supporting people who prop the government up when it suits them in the Dáil, while speaking words against them on the street.

We have no confidence in this government that represents the interests of those who profit off the crises ordinary people face. That is why People Before Profit are still the only ones to commit to NEVER propping up Fianna Fáil OR Fine Gael.

We need price caps. Nothing less stop the profiteering / increases.
Then we need to re-nationalise our energy.

In less than 24 hours, there's a chance to get rid of this FF-FG government and bring about a #GeneralElectionNOW.

Government to cut petrol and diesel by 10c and defer carbon tax increase in €505m package The announcement of the package follows engagement with representative groups for transport, farming, and fisheries.

These tax cuts still don't provide any certainty for people because there are no price controls.

They also don't break from reliance on fossil fuels.

But militant action has won concessions.

A lesson that should now be acted on.
