Genuinely hoping and praying this is the only 'sonic boom' anyone ends up talking about today. Scary f'n times... Now listen to us talk about cartoons!

Surely it's no coincidence that "Christ is risen" sounds like a direct attack on Passover matzoh.

I just cancelled Disney+ and Hulu. If you don't agree with corporations like Disney kowtowing to this administration's anti free-speech policies, you should do the same.
It’s amazing how well that syncs up!

Hey friends! I just officially launched a new, vintage toy-focused Youtube channel!

Make good trouble.
Did I get a good deal?
An important PSA for anyone who needs to hear it:
LA Fires update: Thankfully I live in a pretty low-risk area (knock on wood), so no cause for concern on my end. Sending my best to everyone who's been affected. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need a hand.
Final cat update! 😕🙂
Update on the cat! #catdistributionsystem
We found this cat.
Thanks so much for watching, and being a fan!
Oh man, so sorry to hear! I've had a few kidney stones over the years (and even a surgery that believe it or not wasn't a great time 😅). If you need any advice, hit me up.
Fun fact: I'm somewhat-embarrassingly the top contributor to profightdb and almost-definitely made that page.
This was really helpful, thanks! Would you mind adding me too?
Oh, and I even had a chance to dabble in working on the video games a little bit, but we try not to talk about that. 😉 (12/12)
To wrap it up, I just want to thank everyone involved in Sonic Boom from the bottom of my heart. Whether you worked on the production or watched it from the comfort of your living room, truly, genuinely, thank you. (11/??)
Beyond that, the Sonic fan community welcomed us with open arms, and for the last 10 years, we've happily attended
@sonicrevolt.bsky.social where we've had the privilege of chatting it up with Sonic fans of all shapes and sizes. (10/?)
Boom was the first show I was ever hired to work on. It marked the beginning of my career which has taken me to places I never thought I'd go, and allowed me to work on other properties that I never imagined I'd get a chance to put my fingerprint on. (9/?)
I also got to witness first-hand the amazing skills of our voice cast
@rogercraigsmith.bsky.social, Colleen O'Shaughnessy, Cindy Robinson, Mike Pollock, Travis Willingham, Nika Futterman, Wally Wingert, and Kirk Thornton (8/?)
Through it, I had the opportunity to meet and forge long-lasting friendships with so many other fantastic writers, including Doc Wyatt & Kevin Burke who Alan and I would go on to work with again on the hilarious Transformers: BotBots. (7/?)
It gave me my first experience in a writer's room where
@alandenton.bsky.social, Bill, and I spent countless hours in Bill's poolhouse crafting hilarious, sometimes-snarky, often fourth-wall-breaking jokes, with the goal always being to make ourselves laugh before anything else. (6/?)
So much so, that some fans went as far as to call it "Sonfeld", which as a comedy writer, is probably the highest praise imaginable! (5/?)
And the best part about it? We didn't have to 100% adhere to pre-existing canon - Boom was it's own thing! And because of that, we got to make the most depraved, sitcom version of a character who nobody ever expected to take that turn. (4/?)
Sonics 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles on Sega Genesis were a regular part of my afternoons and weekends, and now, here I was, putting words in his mouth and helping flesh out an entire universe of classic and original characters... (3/?)
Writing for Boom was a childhood dream come true, not just because it was my first foray into my TV writing career, but because I grew up on Sonic the Hedgehog games and cartoons. The Blue Blur was ubiquitous in the lives of every 90s kid and I was no different. (2/?)
