today a lovely lady was in the shop & showed me 1000 photos of all the beautiful restoration work she has done on secondhand wooden furniture she has found over the years. then she also purchased candles & incense before showing me the meditation room she has built for herself. best. customer. ever.

fully shattered mode has been entered. we have been up & doing since 6am. most of the move is done except a few small bits & pieces we finish tomorrow. some things have even been unpacked but woefully & with waning energy i continue the search for a cup for my tea…

i have been led to believe it was quite a fabulous experience. absolutely delighted y’all avoided the cyclone weather too.

engaging in a level of schlep that guarantees i’m gonna bump into my worst enemy on the street. yesterday has lain me to waste, today demands movement, & tomorrow is already sucking out next weeks energy.

no, took a van of furniture to a friend was how i ended up that way, perfect area situation for when my proximity to town is no longer a concern tho.

am hopeful the weather plays this same game with me when we do our proper move next week, i’d like to meet my new neighbourhood with this kind of vibe in play!

what a perfect day to be moving the big things out of the house that we are delivering to new recipients. our house immediately looks more manageable & i feel marginally less panicked about the next 72 hours.

yes. yes it is! i’ve picked a fabulous day to do furniture delivery.
