Don't read too much into the billing order—its based on out-of-universe contract negotiations and has nothing to do with screentime or significance to the story. For example, Mark Hamill was the second credited actor on The Force Awakens and he had 60 seconds of screen time and no dialog.

Looking at pages on the Celebration website using elements from key art as independent assets and clip art, and fact it exists in portrait, landscape and t-shirt variations... may not have a single artist; basically assembled by art director bashing assets created by multiple artist to form poster.

Either way, announcing "check out this new art" without saying who the artist is, well, that is kinda weird. And in 2026, you'd think they'd know better.

Speculation seen elsewhere suggest it might not have a single creditable artist; basically made by an art director bashing assets created by multiple artist to create brand kit, website, and key art in various compositions.

Other speculate (given style) it might be Danny Haas - www.artofdanny.com

I find the lack of credited artist disturbing.

A New Hope is sunset. Revenge of the Sith is sunset too. But the Rise of Skywalker is sunrise... different lighting and colors and overall look and symbolism and meaning.

Harrison Ford "Yes, And"s a joke made by a comedian on a talk show; outlets report it with clickbaity headlines.

Better than "Based on assets and intellectual properties held by The Muppets Holding Company, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company and its shareholders (NYSE: DIS)."

Agreed! Gen-X has a weird, sacred/nostalgia relationship with Star Wars (being 3-18 for the OT's release and like 20-35 for the PT).

I want more from Boomers (Lucas, Gilroy, R Howard, etc) or Millennials (BD Howard, Headland, Watts & Ford, etc) and less from Gen-Xers (Abrams, Favreau, Filoni, etc).
