I see that a few Canadians are concerned that trade negotiations USMCA, the trade deal between Canada, US, Mexico is going to fall through. Let me assure you, Trump will put as much effort into the trade deal that he just did with the peace deal.

This is my Kitty, adopted him almost 25 years ago. He was a stillborn kitty whose rescuer gave him kitty CPR.

While I was in NS and fixing the family home that I went through enough IPhones that I gave up and went back to android, it was cheaper in the long run.

I have an older iphone around here somewhere. Usually use it in stubborn apple only locations.

Been gone from Nova Scotia for 8 months now and only have one regret. I can't say I miss the place because I spent so much of my life there.

If you're sorta like me and like to install beta and alpha builds of things. i was bored and decided to hit system update and see if there is anything new. Oh look!

Well technically every day should be like that but what does a roley poley fox know.

They installed the ONT made by Motorola and they had custom weatherproof cabinets. They neglected to weatherproof it and you could see the back of the circuit board. Over the course of several years, I went thru 5!!! ONT's. One time it was infested with hornets, the RJ45 jacks had goo oozing out lol

I remember when they ran the arial drop and they bound it to existing copper lines at the pole. Yet the neighbors got theirs buried. More than once the line got cut, even when they did bury it, when they went to hook it up, they had cut their own buried line and had to come back a third time.

Must be exciting. lol Back in 2004 I think it was, I remember when they installed the fiber infrastructure all around the city. I was out there with my camera taking pictures of the huge fiber reels. I remember also when it was hooked up, I found a flaw that triggered an ONT power cycle. :D

One step closer to hopping online and then I can build my gaming desktop again. Wooooo!

I definitely would lapse into a coma If you tried to convince me that no person would ever need such fast internet. You've never been on fiber if you have to convince me. For me it allows me to do multiple bandwidth intensive things at the same time and still have more than enuf left over.

I think the closest comparison would be kerosene. You usually call up the company of choice and a day or two later a large oil truck parks out front and pumps whatever they have on file. Otherwise you have to pay up to $12,000 to have natural gas run up your street.

It's amazing how one person can cause so much damage across the board. I'm thankful to have gotten rid of the family home. $1056 for half a tank of fuel. Also the strategic oil reserves are nearly depleted in the United States. Everyone around Trump is a bigger dumbass.

Spent most of the day trying to get my download speeds to match the package I'm getting.

I can't say that I miss the snow, if I never have to pick up a snow shovel again, I'd be ecstatic.

Still miss going to cons *sigh* I miss seeing all of you and being able to enjoy the time and not think about anything else for a few days, oh and the hugs, I miss those too! /lonely

I realized something about Star Trek TNG. Picard had his heart replaced with a mechanical one when he was much younger. Wouldn't the Borg have replaced it with something better, especially when he had a fling with the Borg Queen? If they could attach skin to Data, surely they could grow a heart.

Wow, just no, What an offer from PayPal. Instead of paying for taxes directly with the government, I can use Paypal credit instead and make monthly payments to them. I'm sure they are just going to hope that I forget to pay them one time and get penalised. No thanks.

Canada needs to understand that after he closes this new bridge that he is also quietly planning to do the same with CUSMA. The whole reason why the bridge was approved in the first place was because of the increasing trade between Canada & the US. That's all but gone now.
