I’m finding it really funny that the sliding centre commentators have no idea who Flava Flav is. “There are some very exuberant fans out there tonight!”

A post on threads from user stephens_bens. It reads 'I'll always remember an interview with Steve Buscemi on Bulleye, Jesse Thorn asked him "As an actor with many decades of varied and outstanding roles across your career, does it ever bother you that one of the things you will most be remembered for is a 3-second gif in which you're wearing a backwards baseball cap and carrying a skateboard?" Local newspaper story: Tables turn LLWCHWR Town Council has decided to stack its new Welfare Hall tables differently to see whether it would prevent them being damaged.

One of the classics doing the rounds again, and it would be rude not to.

I finally decided to sell my last remaining drum (a 13” Noble & Cooley CD maple snare) from my music days, lifted it out of its case, gave it a single tap, and now I know I can’t sell it. Is it just me, or does everyone have some silly thing from their youth they can’t quite part with?

In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Yeah, that’s why I’m looking to move. For the two or three posts I do a year, it’s not worth what I’m paying but I like having a site. Something nice about having somewhere that isn’t full of ads etc to show my pics.

Does anyone on here have any tips for a cheaper alternative to squarespace? I’m paying too much for my site at the moment. 😕

I just rediscovered my old video diaries from a student round-the-world trip I did in the early 2000s. Aside from the rambling monologues of pretentious self-discovery, I sincerely regret buying and overusing a fisheye adapter for the camcorder at the very start of the journey. Gahhh!
