A great weekend for our Reserves, Sunday Men's, Sunday U15 and U12 teams this weekend! Some great wins at home and on the road.
Unfortunately it was a loss on the road for our Men's First Team, 4-0 away to Chalfont, and our Saturday U15 team lost 2-1 to Maidenhead U15.
Every Mortimer team is in action this weekend. Both our Men's First Team and our Sunday Team have cup matches, whilst our other teams all continue for league domination!
Our Under 12 team and Reserve team both kick off their respective seasons with their first matches.

New First Team Manager Mortimer FC are delighted to announce Matt Cuthbertson as the new First Team Manager. He brings a wealth of experience in both youth and adults football and was previously manager of Buckingham FC. He will be putting in place his backroom staff over the coming days and weeks. The club is absolutely delighted to get someone on board with Matt's enthusiasm, drive and commitment to the club, and we look forward to the season ahead. Pre-season training details, friendlies, and a message from Matt to follow
A message from Matt Cuthbertson - Our New First Team Manager βI'm delighted to take on the role of First Team Manager at Mortimer. Having been in and around the team for the past 12 months I feel I'm in a strong position to move the team forward into the next season. I started watching and supporting Mortimer as a child, with family playing for the club, so I know how good it can be to play football here. My aim is to make this a great place to play football again. Over the next week or so we'll be putting our management group in place. The pre-season friendlies are already pretty much in the diary and now its about working with the team to make us as successful as we can be over the coming seasons. We won't be perfect to start with, but we will grow and develop as a group. Thank you to Matt Gabb and the committee for the support and confidence with this. I will fight tooth and nail to ensure we create something successful for the people that have worked so hard for this club.β
