I didn’t do a lot of drawing this year since I was more focused on planning out fics, but these are definitely my favourites I’ve drawn this year~

This is just a long winded way of saying Lilia's love is so strong and powerful yet he can't fully see it. He can't even see how loved he is in return despite how it destroys his son, Sebek and especially Malleus losing him.

He always came last for himself and it's why he didn't fight being banished twice over. He couldn't let himself believe in Maleanor's belief that he could love any child that came from her and Revan but his love for his friends was what allowed Malleus to live

But despite the strong love he held for his friends, Lilia still believed he wasn't capable of love. He was discriminated against as a bat fae, he was brought to the castle as a child to entertain the princess and train as a child solider.

obviously this is still related to MalleLili because of course it does, but Lilia loving others before Malleus is so important. He loved Maleanor, he loved Revan, he watched his best friends fall in love and marry and was content with that

Constantly think about how important it is that Lilia loved both Maleanor and Revan so much and it can't be ignored since it's such an essential part of his character with his self-hated and believing he wasn't capable of love
