Glaring at him through the holes of his mask, not maliciously but more of a friendly banter or so while Noi watched them bicker.

The smoke kept pouring from the man's palms, encroaching on the walls and only adding more spikes and crushing debris to befall around the cleaners.
Shin and Noi were already on the move, dodging what they could to get closer as the room seemed to only get bigger.

The individual was shaky, freshly consumed black powder on his lips as he twitches, staring at the trio.

"Y-YOU SHITSTAINS!!!
YOU'RE NOT TAKING ME I-IN!!!"

a maniacal laugh as his hands clasp together, suddenly the walls began to rumble, spikes of concrete shooting out towards the sorcerers.

More walking through the hellhole of a building they reached the end of a hallway, a large door in front of them and a crosseye symbol stamped on the wall next to it.
Shin quickly kicked it down and moved inside with the others, a single man was in the room.

👹: "How do you use drugs unknowingly??
And sell them at that??"

Grabbing the large ball and lifting him up with it, emitting a hearty laugh.

👹: "pff hahaha!!!
What'd you even do to end up like that?"

With a few grunts and yelps of pain the crosseye was disposed of.
Noi gave Juni a rough pat on their back as they continued forward.

👹: "Nice nice rookie!
But don't let up now we got lots more of crosseyes to dispose of!"

Shin didn't say anything, he simply moved forward.

Noi quickly went into a nearby room, unlocking it with a key which was attached to a large keychain with about 40 other keys at least, going inside before quickly stepping back out again, handing Corvus a mask resembling a mauled victim.

👹: "come on!
You wouldn't want En seeing you without a mask"

👹: "well you're in the sorcerer world, did you not notice...walking through a magical door??
Here every sorcerer wears a mask, it's part of our society!
Seeing someone without one is shameful, or worse you could be mixed up with a human and killed!"

Lastly a door was slammed open, a man wearing a grotesque mask with cross eye marks wielded a metal bat and was about to swing it at Juni's head in a quick motion.

Noi, being behind was also attacked.
Loud footsteps and a lanky man with a switchblade approaching with a loud scream of anger as the larger sorcerer pivoted, charging up a punch that went directly through the man's chest with brute force.

The two killers were constant and calm with their pace until another cross eye popped up from behind a large crate with a machete, the whole place was in disarray and those thugs could be hiding in every nook and cranny.
Swiftly Shin moved to the side and smashed the man's skull with his hammer.

🫀: "Drunk."

👹: "Drunk!"

🫀: "Wasted drunk, hmph it was real fun though."

👹: "Ah senpai your mask!"

🫀: "oh right..."

Shin would turn his mask around showing another design different from the usual one.

👹: "we should get you a mask too huh birdie?
You need to blend in!"

🫀: "unless they can use magic too then no, i like to keep it somewhat fair but if you can't throw hands then go ahead and use your pocket garden."

Noi had chucked the bag out a window for later collection, a loud thud being heard and a loud yelp as both cleaners began to move upstairs.

He'd look down at them as Noi finished up, clenching and unclenching his fist slowly as the magic dissipated.

🫀: "Actually got a couple more targets in this building.
I don't know how you've managed to get in here without getting caught but at this point you might as well help."

👹: "Be careful now!
We don't know if there's some sneaky shits left..."

🫀: "Let's get back to work quickly."

Shin would extend one hand out to a semi alive crosseyes, his magic releasing from his fingertips and engulfing the man

Both back up as Noi coincidentally arrives on the scene, the moment she appears the small girl runs to her, sobbing and crying.
A tight hug and a look of confusion from the bigger sorcerer.

👹: "Huh??

What the hell happened??"

💀: "UWAAHHHHHHAAAA!!!
THAT GEEZER IS CREEPY...!"
