tagging doesn't give you all the features you may want, as you'll still get all posts from the user when following them. for a general user, that only works when you're specifically looking for that person's posts (if even that)

to be honest the main want is being able to seperate different types of posts you make. another idea is being able to create categories for your profile, then you can post to a specific category. when someone is following, they can choose which of the users' categories they get posts from

i don't think i've seen it implemented anywhere personally, but it's something that i feel would be useful for a lot of ppl. if there's less sacrifice for using multiple profiles, then people will do it more, and followers will have more choice for what they see

starter packs and lists seem to be functionally similar to this, but arent two-way, and you would need to be able to set a "main list" or something so it appears without being in the tab

that's a good idea that i didnt think about. from there the only thing that would be needed is a way to connect profiles together, so viewers can switch between them with like a bar at the top or smth rather than requiring bio shenanigans

something that would be nice is a better way of managing multiple profiles. On similar services such as twitter, its common for creators to have multiple accounts, e.g one for personal stuff and one for art. Being able to have "sub-profiles" that people can choose to only follow one of would be cool
