Trying to resist the urge to post them whole before I submit them anywhere. For now, just this:

And the burden isn’t equal. Some civilians have far more protection, shelters, infrastructure, and powerful allies. Ordinary Iranians are left to survive bombs, dictatorship, and chaos at the same time.

Who has actually been liberated by this?

I don’t see this war in Iran helping ordinary people.
War brings death, trauma, displacement, and harsher repression. It doesn’t magically create freedom.

I try to journal, but I only do so about twice a year now.
I try to meditate, but I lose all motivation to do it in the morning like I plan.

However, I early-voted in the March 3 Democratic primary
and will sleep like a baby knowing I actually did something.

Watching the Donald Trump era unfold
taught me something uncomfortable:

Democracy rarely collapses from one dramatic act.
It erodes when people decide some harm is “acceptable”
as long as it doesn’t hit them yet.

One of the most dangerous myths we tell ourselves is:

It arrived through rallies, rhetoric, and gradual permission.

That’s the part people forget. Stop being permissive and stand up!

Step 1: Undermine trust in journalists.
Step 2: Frame critics as enemies of “the people.”
Step 3: Normalize cruelty as strength.

If this sounds familiar, that’s not an accident.
It’s a pattern. And it’s happening again.

A Democrat just flipped a heavily Republican district in North Fort Worth, Texas.

Turns out turnout, organizing, and showing up still work.
