Thank you both for your wonderful re-look at Caravaggio, a painter I've loved most of my 79 years. Agree that the dynamism of draped cloth compliments anatomy and further, V did not use impasto, ala Rembrandt, but neither are paintings flat and mirrory. Only Velasquez can touch him. THANK YOU!
