Roaring Knight is feeding that part of me that really enjoyed fighting and losing to Romula or Midra in Elden Ring. When I lose, it does feel like it is just something I have yet to learn. It's the perfect storm of challenge: it's not frustrating, it's fun to learn, and victory feels possible.
Sometimes I can feel something monstrous and bestial clawing its way up my throat and I want nothing more than for it to tear itself out of the lump in my chest and yank free of the husk of my human body because I know it would be beautiful.
