Not good. Yeah, you did the right thing considering your own safety.

Not sure what to believe, the Red-rumped Swallow or the Steve Starling. ๐คฃ
Need to report him. Name and shame him.
Best view in Weymouth, in my opinion.
Lovely pics buddy.
Female Pied Fly found by Mark Eggleton.
Back of camera shot of my favourite Spring migrant. A super male Redstart.
Tree Pipit.
Green-winged Orchid.
Camp Road - Tidmoor. Great morning. Highlights were a Pied Fly at Littlesea Woods, 3 Redstarts, 2 Whinchats, 1 Tree Pipit, 2 Corn Buntings & 2nd-cal Bonaparte's Gull still present. Sadly, just 2 Green-winged Orchids on Tidmoor, due to over zealous grass cutting. Very sad. Patch year list now 131.
A couple of hours seawatch from Camp Road, with 2 each of Great & Arctic Skuas being the highlights amongst the variety, plus lots of Manx Shearwaters moving. All movements East. Also, 2 or 3 presumed Bottlenose Dolphins, but only seen back on, when they lept out of water. Patch year list now 126.
Pics of the 2nd-cal yr Bonaparte's Gull and Corn Bunting from The Fleet at Lynch Cove/Littlesea.
What the hell would they have written if it was Starmer? ๐
Yes.
2nd-cal yr Bonaparte's Gull was still at Lynch Cove this morning. No sign of the other bird though.
Other that the 2 Bonaparte's Gulls, very quiet on patch today, but 2 Common Sandpipers moved the Chickerell Fleet patch to 124. Also, first thing, I did venture out, as it would have been rude not to appreciate the lovely Bluethroat at Swineham.
Both Bonaparte's Gulls still present Lynch Cove, The Fleet, Chickerell.
Arty farty shot of 2nd-summer Bonaparte's Gull at Lynch Cove, The Fleet, this morning showing the lovely orange leg colour.
The 2nd-summer/3rd-cal yr Bonaparte's Gull at Lynch Cove this morning.
Both Bony's still present at Lynch Cove. Plus, a Corn Bunting flew over heading North.
Showing wing detail of 3rd-cal yr+ Bonaparte's Gull from Lynch Cove this afternoon.
A couple of pics from today, at Lynch Cove of the Bonaparte's Gulls. 2nd-cal yr from this morning & 3rd-cal+ yr from this afternoon.
2, yes, 2 Bonaparte's Gulls. 2nd-cal yr, joined by a 3rd-cal yr+ at Lynch Cove this afternoon. Pic is not a true reflection, as the 2 birds spent hardly anytime together. 2nd bird found by Charlie Richards, during increase of Black-headed Gulls since the morning.First multiple occurrence in Dorset.
Cracking day on patch at Littlesea, The Fleet. Highlight was finding a โ๏ธ Desert Wheatear in Bridging Camp. โ๏ธ Long-tailed Duck, 2 Slavonian Grebes & singles of Atlantic Brent Goose, Whimbrel & Water Rail, plus a Harbour Seal made up the rest of the highlights.
Maybe, if I'd been vaccinated, I would have heard about it sooner, so could have tried my chances of trying to find it in the field. Ah well.
