A reminder from Huffington Post that DHS and ICE have opened fire on unarmed civilians 16 times since Trump took office, killing 4 people. In every case, DHS claims that the victims "assaulted officers" and/or tried to ram them with cars. In every case, evidence proves they are lying. Every time.

I agree with this take on why the Trump regime is spreading a video in which the ICE agent in Minneapolis says "Fuckin' bitch" after shooting a woman to death. You'd think they'd want to hide that, but no.
Homeland Security posts on Twitter: "Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available"

ICE shot her in the face multiple times, in broad daylight, anyway.
This is the ICE agent who murdered a woman by shooting her multiple times in the face.

I’m not sure how to even express my feelings at how absolutely terrifying what Trump is doing right now. It’s so blatantly illegal, intentionally so, and so flagrant and disgusting. Fuck this man, and fuck this country’s imperial machine.

There are 510,000 NCAA athletes. Less than ten are transgender. The GOP doesn’t care about protecting women. They celebrate and empower men who assault women. They force pregnant women to carry their rapist’s child to term. They target a tiny, vulnerable community to scare us and consolidate power.

YES THIS HAPPENED. Also in a general sense if ASL interpreters are working one of my events and there is time, I try to give them access to any prepared materials and generally go over things that I suspect will present an issue for them. The idea they're not needed or useful is shitty ableist BS.
