Invisible Child is the non-fiction, urban equivalent to Demon Copperhead which makes it even more gutting.

Book Club pick. Though I’m not usually an Ann Patchett fan, I think I could listen to Meryl Streep read anything. This was beautiful in a slow, steady way.

2024 Reads 📚

My genre of choice is books about nothing and everything at the same time. I don’t read too many male authors but Michael Cunningham had me with The Hours many years ago so I keep coming back to him. This one is a triptych of the same date in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
