Du meinst die „Kritiker“, die ihnen den Tod gewünscht haben oder gedroht haben, sie und „ihre ganze Sippe auszulöschen“? Es gibt einen Unterschied zwischen Meinung, Drohung und Beleidigung und gegen zwei der drei sollte man sich wehren dürfen ohne dass die andere Seite heult, sie sei unterdrückt.

Oh, but they can’t. If you haven’t heard: it’s becoming too difficult to survive in certain places. Example: Pakistan had extreme heat waves and droughts this spring, but as climate change means more extremes parts it also had been in the headlines a few years ago for being severely flooded.

So when you say that the world needs more people it’s not all people then? What happens to the ones that are deported? Who didn’t pass the vetting?

How do you think this should be solved if we need more people?

What’s hindering assimilation?

So we should all be happy about migration. But politics and public opinion is, that migration is the root for problems. Shouldn’t we invite more people into our countries instead of sending them back? Why are people afraid of refugees if more people means more prosperity for everyone?

If you’re not rich this is not how loans work. Unsustainable use of soil means that we risk food production on that soil. The conditions changed so we can’t compare the fights 1000 years ago to today’s. If we want to maintain or increase the population, we have to be much smarter than we are now.

Let me ask you in return: do you think taking loans increases the standard of living? Is it sustainable to live on loans? We fight wars over resources already. Our standard of living depends of exploitation of other people & nature. Those who make our clothes, mine ores etc. mostly live miserably.

That’s not what we proved. We proved that the world is becoming greener. But not through sustainable development. Food is not the only thing we need though. We need favorable climate, space and resources. Simple solutions are not enough for complex problems. Just „more/less people“ is too simple.

Less people need less energy making energy cheaper. Same for using more energy efficient technology. Despite the greening effect we have hunger, water scarcity and an increase in weather extremes due to climate change leading to increased migration. With more people all of this will become worse.

I’m not sure what your point is and the connection to education and poverty. Are you saying that we need more people in the energy sector or more people in general?

I agree. I think together with poverty we need to address education and an understanding for the importance of sustainability and our ecological footprint.

It would have been helpful if you had sent me a link to your source but I think I found it. Thanks for the interesting topic. Greening does not mean sustainable food production. We can’t ignore earths limits endlessly. I agree, unlike deer we can plan and adapt to a certain degree.

Funktioniert mit ADHS meiner Erfahrung nach bis „olles Zeug aussortieren“, aber dann verlierst du die Motivation und Energie und dann hast du lauter Häufchen vor dem Schrank, die Putzsachen stehen rum und die Bohrmaschine ist immer noch nicht im Container 😅 Aber die Schokolade war’s wert!
