again, no single case has been explained or allegation made against anybody with credible evidence here. hell, bro even admitted that the one person he called out by name, he hadn't had any meaningful interactions with to form an opinion.

If you send in complaints about a person/people, you get back a response of "nah there's nothing happening here" but you know that you're in the right, /then/ you have that leverage to call out the safety/management team for mishandling a situation.

in a normal way, this may have turned out different. GDQ isn't banning people for speaking out against harassment, there have been plenty of people that, *with evidence* have both privately and publicly outed people for being garbage individuals, without retribution, because why would you do that?

that's one of the main differences here: brossentia wants to try and be a martyr for whatever reason by going scorched earth instead of at /least/ trying to send in concerns or complaints through the valid methods.

if he hadn't been so openly hostile and instead voiced concerns, even in public,

there are avenues for dealing with this in gdq, namely contacting the publicly available groups (safety, management) via email.

if there is something in those allegations, they'll be dealt with. nobody should need to go through a middleman in a bluesky thread to get their concerns out there.

don't forget in this example your gardener called several of your kids sexist and another an abuser without providing context and alleged that a lot of people are being abused in your house.

all while trying to gather as much information from other people on how shitty you are.

If this was a company that had no stake in GDQ then sure, that would be weird.

But GDQ distancing themselves from somebody who is actively hostile to their staff is not an unreasonable ask.

I don't know all of the details myself but in this case I'm pretty sure the employer is the escape room company that gdq contracts with to run at their events

So the company responsible for facilitating their staff to work at GDQ should know that one of their staff won't be getting their badge.

and has still not actually "blown the whistle" on harassment, it's still all just claims, rumors and hearsay. I can easily do the same thing against someone just because I didn't like them and it wouldn't mean anything either.

Brossentia has not provided any evidence regarding harassment within the company, has been continuously asking for people to give him something to work off of,

the issue is that this quickly pivoted from someone who did report harassment and it was dealt with, to Brossentia claiming that there is a cabal of harassers within GDQ without any evidence, going as far as calling a specific staff member out by name (for something unrelated to the original post)
