He was part of an attack with that cavalry to the south to try and push the Williamite cavalry back across the river but failed. He rallied but the rest of the force had to withdraw.

Williamite forces are across the Boyne at Fennor and Oldbridge. @maniacalinc.bsky.social has pushed Ginkel back across the river. William and James have much to consider.
