Well, I was on the official Babylon 5 HTML-based discussion board back in 1997 and I love Rush, so B5SnowDog was born.

This month has really been about trying to balance my health with my lifelong urge to do good in this world and it's been really difficult. It feels like my body's needs have greatly increased as my need to respond to injustice has, and I don't have the resources to do both.

Content note: discussion of death

My grandmother died yesterday. I came from out of town to help my family since she couldn't be left alone. 3 hours later she was gone, so I went back home. She died at home with family around, which is what she wanted. Thoughts still jumbled but I'm going to be ok.

Right now the two places that show the correct name are Mapquest and Here WeGo. I've been using Here WeGo as a replacement for Google Maps anyway.

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

The image features two vertical panels. The top panel shows a clip from the film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002). Frodo Baggins is a hobbit with light skin and dark curly hair. He rests beside a rock and asks, "What are we holding on to, Sam?"

The bottom panel shows a light-skinned hobbit with blond, curly hair holding something on fire in his hand; Sam replies, "it's called a Molotov cocktail and you're going to want to throw it fast."

The image contains four panels arranged vertically. The first panel is an image of Mariann Edgar Budde, the Bishop of Washington, delivering delivering the homily at the 2025 American post-inauguration interfaith prayer service. She has short grey hair, light skin, wears glasses, and is dressed in white, red, and black robes. She is standing at the pulpit of Washington National Cathedral and is surrounded by white and red flowers.

The second panel features a scene from Season 1 episode 3 of Good Omens. The demon Crowley is standing on the viewer's left and is wearing a black robe. He has light skin, shoulder-length red hair, and yellow eyes with vertical pupils like a snake. The angel Aziraphale is standing on the viewer's left and has light skin and short white hair. He's wearing white robes and a white head covering. Crowley asks Aziraphale, "What was it she said that got everyone so upset?"

In the third panel, Aziraphale replies, "Be kind to each other."

In the fourth panel, Crowley responds, "Oh yeah. That'll do it."
